After my First Friday exhibition, I experienced a big growth spurt with lots of growing pains as I began to accept payment for my photography. I'm enjoying some success coaxing this change along a path where it enhances, and doesn't endanger, what I love about doing photography. My heart's desire is to take pictures of people moving and *trying*, and now I know I want to hang those pictures on walls. I want what I earn for photography to finance that while still being very affordable for artists and non-profits. I'm developing a pricing model to serve all that. It's been challenging, rewarding, and kind of fun. Anyway! Here's a gallery of photos from Dark Sky Aerial's auditions for OPIA, coming to a dramatic venue near you (Flagstavians) in December. It's going to be amazing!
