I got a 40mm lens and ultraviolet filter for Seoul. I took a 50mm lens to Kyoto and the pictures felt claustrophobic to me. I prefer to flirt with wide angles; I like the extra info that collects in their corners. I played with the new setup in my neighborhood in bright sun. Hey -- a UV filter makes it *fun* to look at what you shot in bright sun (instead of a total bummer).
