I asked my Boston friend for things to do in Boston that would be visually interesting. She said, "What do you mean by visually interesting?" And I realized I didn't know how to put that into words. Nevertheless, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum was the first thing that popped into her mind, and it was splendidly visually interesting: weird, rambling, mysterious, jumbled, vibrant, colorful, and grand. Thanks for reading my mind, Pam!
